It's wonderful to take your family to the movies during the Christmas holiday break, but this can get very expensive. Rather than the theatre, try Redbox rentals. There are several locations around town. You can rent a new release for just $1.Another frugal way to entertain the family is to take a drive around town and check out christmas lights. Make it a family tradition. Or get out the board games and playing cards, whip up some snacks and the kids will love spending time with you. And of course don't forget caroling. Many churches get together in December just call around

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I began dating during the winter and from then on, we get in the car with our hot chocolate and check out the Christams lights. I look forward to that as much as I do the decorating.
