SAVING TIP #8

Food for thought. Don't break the bank fixing that traditional holiday dinner.

Read the paper every week for deals, if you don't subscribe to the paper, pick up free ads at the store and take them home so you'll have time to look them over before shopping. Take the time to compare prices.Forget name brands! Store brands are great when making casseroles and side dishes… no one will even notice! And try this, cook your turkey in a large Reynolds cooking bag and you won't need to buy an expensive Butterball, any brand will be wonderful!

  1. Excellent tips too. You are so right about the cooking bags. Learned this one from my mother years ago. Have a great day Colleen. Big hug. :)
