"His body shall not remain overnight on the tree,
but you shall surely bury Him that day...
for He who is hanged is accursed of God"
Deuteronomy 21:23
When Jesus hung on the cross to pay the penalty for our
sins, He became a curse for us, in fullfillment of this verse ( see Gal. 3:13)
How amazing that God can use even His curses for our blessing.
