A little of this and a whole lot of that.
Well that is just lovely!! when we lived in Maine. We rented an old farm house for the first 5 years.
ReplyDeleteIt was a grand old thing sitting on about 350 acres and at the back forty there was one of the most beautiful little lakes I have ever seen.
We planted 500 pumpkins one year and almost everyone made. We both worked then so we put out a sign, left the pumpkins on a picnic table with a jar for money.
Each day we would arrive home to find a few dollars in the jar and some pumpkins gone! You know I don;t think we ever had one single pumpkin stolen.
It truly was a magical land to me, Maine that is!
