After spending time substitute teaching and coming across so many children that CAN'T read I have but one question... WHY CAN'T THEY READ?
Our public schools claim to have so many special programs for children that have trouble with Reading, Math and such. SO why do I run into 6th graders and higher, that are having a hard time in school because THEY CAN'T READ!
Is it not bad enough that we will leave our children with such a National Debt but now we just move them on from grade to grade without the proper education to get them from Day to Day.
Why? I ask... WHY??

Amen!
ReplyDeleteI have a struggling reader. We homeschool, so we are able to work at his own pace. But, it really saddens me that many public schooled kids are just pushed through the system and never really learn.
Good post! :)
It is so sad.....
